Privacy Policy

FrameLab Studio is designed with a strict privacy-first philosophy. The app operates entirely offline and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data whatsoever. Your images and screenshots never leave your device.

FrameLab Studio has zero network entitlements in its App Sandbox configuration. This means the app is technically incapable of making any network connections, even if it wanted to. Your work is completely private by design.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. FrameLab Studio does not collect any of the following:

• Contact information (name, email, phone number)
• Health, fitness, or financial data
• Location data or contacts
• User content, images, or screenshots
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage data, analytics, or crash reports

FrameLab Studio makes zero network requests. The app has no network entitlements and is sandboxed by macOS to prevent any outbound connections.

There is no telemetry, no crash reporting, no analytics, and no cloud sync. All image processing, rendering, and exporting happens locally on your Mac using Apple's native frameworks.

FrameLab Studio stores the following data only on your device:

• Project data (layouts, text, settings) in ~/Library/Application Support/FrameLab Studio/
• User preferences via macOS UserDefaults
• Security-scoped bookmarks to access your chosen image files

To completely remove all FrameLab Studio data from your Mac, delete the application and remove: ~/Library/Application Support/FrameLab Studio

FrameLab Studio is distributed through the Apple App Store. As part of operating the App Store and macOS platform, Apple may collect certain data independently, including:

• Crash logs — if you have opted in to sharing diagnostics with developers, Apple may provide anonymized crash reports via App Store Connect
• App analytics — Apple may collect aggregate, anonymized usage statistics such as install counts

This data is collected by Apple, not by FrameLab Studio, and is governed entirely by Apple's Privacy Policy. FrameLab Studio does not receive any personally identifiable information through these channels.

You can control whether your device shares diagnostics with app developers by going to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements on macOS.

FrameLab Studio uses no third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks beyond Apple's own system frameworks (SwiftUI, AppKit, CoreGraphics). There are no ads, no tracking pixels, and no embedded analytics.

FrameLab Studio does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the app collects no data at all, it is inherently compliant with COPPA and similar regulations.

If we ever update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL. Given that FrameLab Studio collects no data, we do not anticipate material changes.
